Soldiers don’t have enough time to stow things away in a backpack in combat. Instead, they use something called a dump pouch or dump pack. This accessory is convenient, allowing users to retain items for immediate use.
A dump pouch’s most common purpose is to hold empty magazines during a battle. They’re pretty voluminous and can store several M4 or AK magazines.
While combat doctrine doesn’t force soldiers to keep every magazine, airsoft is different. You’ll want to keep them around for future events, and the pouch is the perfect tool for the job.
